Description
Iron Mantle is a skill-based arcade game about one question: how deep can you dig? Players steer Rusty, a dented, overconfident drill with a face that reacts to everything, straight down through 7 layers of the Earth: from the Topsoil through the Crystal Caverns and the Magma Depths to the Heart of the World. Every run takes 1 to 4 minutes. Every run ends with an upgrade, and every upgrade takes you deeper.
History
Most digging games on mobile are idle games that play themselves. Iron Mantle puts the drill back in the player's hands: simple steering, real hazards, and a record depth to beat. It is Ctrl Alt Defeat Studio's first game, built in Unity.
Features
- Drag-to-steer controls: the drill does the digging, you pick the path
- 7 underground layers, each with its own look, hazards and loot
- Lava, TNT chain reactions, unbreakable obsidian and burrow worms
- 60+ cosmetic skins with dig trails, toppers and reactive mascot faces
- 7 upgrades, 8 drills, 13 trophy lines, daily streaks and a seasonal Core Pass
- Plays offline, with fair, optional rewarded ads
